Reynolds is a California native with deep North Carolina roots. When he was in the third grade, he announced to the class that "spatula" was misspelled in the textbook, as it should be spelled "spatular". When his teacher asked him if his mother was from the South, he replied firmly, "No ma'am, she's from North Carolina!" We're glad he came back.

After graduating with Honors from Stanford University, Reynolds began his career as an investment consultant for clients such as University of California, Johnson Foundation, and Notre Dame. He later served as an Investor Relations Manager at Bowman Capital, a multi-billion dollar venture capital and hedge fund firm. His clients included Michael Dell, Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley.

Reynolds specializes in the financial analysis of investment properties, and holds the prestigious CCIM (Certified Commercial Investment Member) designation. In addition, he is a member of the Triangle Commercial Association of Realtors, North Carolina Association of Realtors, and the National Association of Realtors.

Reynolds is also President of Headwall Development, Inc., a real estate investment company which specializes in the renovation and redevelopment of mixed-use properties.
